The purpose of this project is to gauge your raw creativity and photographic eye, a baseline if you will. Get creative and get used to the “uncomfortable” nature of photographing someone as your subject. We will have a series of technical photoshoots mixed in with creative photoshoots, and we are going to hit the ground running with a choose your own adventure conceptual, creative shoot!
For this project, you will be photographing one person throughout your series of FIVE images. The goal of this series is to photograph your subject without showing their full face while showing something unique about that person. I have provided a few examples to draw inspiration from, but the end result should be YOUR interpretation of the concept, not just following the examples.
Subject requirements:
Your subject must be a person
You can show only part of the face, BUT not the full face
The viewer must learn something about your subject
Photo 2 & Photo 3 only
You will be using the same Photoshoot concept with one modification…
You will be photographing 5 SELF PORTRAITS.
