Camera Bag Cheat Sheet Project | photo 1 only

due: Friday 1/28/22

(40 points)

Over the course of the semester we will be creating a small cheat sheet in PHOTOSHOP that will fit on our camera bags. Each card will contain one topic that we have talked about in class to serve as a quick reference while on a shoot. We will be working on the composition section of our cheat sheet. You will need to complete a compact infographic for each of the compositional elements that we discuss in class. For this first portion of the project you will need to complete the following four elements

  • Perspective

  • Rule of Thirds

  • Framing

  • Leading Lines

Requirements for EACH card:

  1. 5x7 inches in size

  2. A unifying color theme. Check out this resource for inspiration!

  3. Title labeling the concept or element

  4. Definition or description of the topic

  5. Graphics explaining the concept

  6. A picture taken and edited by you demonstrating the element / concept

  7. Two tips to consider or try when framing your image using this element

  8. Non-Distracting design elements and decorations

To turn in your assignment, save as a .jpg image and rename:

At the end of the year, we will vote as a class which design will be printed and placed in our class camera bags! So spend some good time considering your layout, colors, and overall design.
