
Crasher Squirrel

Use the photo provided in this assignment to cut the squirrel out in Pixlr. Find a scene on the internet to put your squirrel in. When searching for you scene on Google please make sure you change the search options to search for a large image file. Be sure to include a shadow so the squirrel looks like they belongs.
Drag your background photo into Pixlr. Unlock the layer by double clicking on the lock on the background layer
Open the squirrel image in a different tab in Pixlr. Choose anyone of the selection tools to cut out the squirrel. Demo shown in class.
Make sure the squirrel is selected and “copy” by hitting command c or navigating to Edit > Copy
Clean up the image with the easer tool
If you need to flip the direction of the squirrel, make sure you have the squirrel layer selected. Navigate to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal
To add a shadow - Navigate to Filter > Drop shadow
Adjust the color of the squirrel using adjustment layers. You can find them under the adjustment drop down. Choose between curves, color balance, levels, hue / saturation or any other adjustment layer.
Add any contextual accessories that help our squirrel bland into the scene!
Save your project as a jpg. Rename: CrasherSquirrel_yourinitials.jpg

Since it is the beginning of October and of the Spooky season, we are going to be creating little monster drawings using our color formulas! Analogous, Monochromatic, Triadic, Square, Rectangular, Complementary, and Split Complementary.
You will be creating ONE little monster using ONE of the color themes. You can use the Adobe Color Wheel to help you select your colors. You can choose from the following color
themes:
● Complementary
● Split Complementary
● Tradic
● Square
● Rectangle
● Analogous
